Olly Murs felt ‘numb’ after learning of Caroline Flack’s death while on holiday

Olly Murs has recalled the heartbreaking moment he learned his good friend Caroline Flack had died while he was on holiday.  The 35-year-old singer was enjoying a sun-kissed getaway with his girlfriend Amelia Tank over Valentine’s when the news broke that Caroline had tragically died by suicide at the age of 40 on 15 February.

It was particularly devastating news for Olly who had developed a close friendship with the former Love Island host when they presented the X Factor and Xtra Factor together between 2011 and 2013.

Opening up about the moment he was informed of the death of his pal, Olly told The Sun: ‘Even answering this question doesn’t seem right, to be honest.
