glamour.comto . Now, the director has dabbled in another out-there trend: the high-fashion breastplate.For the Women Talking premiere in LA, opted for a black dress featuring a gold breastplate made from moulded leather—look 1 from ’s spring/summer 2023 collection.
A symbol of female empowerment, it was a fitting choice for Wilde, who has been outspoken on the subject of gender inequality in the film industry.Zendaya famously wore a hot-pink breastplate by Tom Ford at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards.
Of course, Wilde is not the only star to have sported a breastplate on the red carpet. Back in January 2020, famously wore a sculpted hot-pink breastplate by Tom Ford at the Critics’ Choice Awards, to British Vogue how the designer’s team came over to her house to “scan [her] boobs” in order to create the jaw-dropping look.
