Thania Garcia Olivia Rodrigo’s sophomore effort “Guts” becomes the 20-year-old’s second No. 1 album, starting with the equivalent of 302,000 albums sold in the United States and nearly 100 million streams — the fourth largest opening week for any album in 2023.

It follows Travis Scott’s massive opening week with “Utopia,” which entered with 496,000 units back in July. Rodrigo’s debut album “Sour” made its entrance in 2021 with 295,000 units and spent a total of five weeks as the lead while her punky single “Good 4 U” also topped the Hot 100.

She again simultaneously tops the songs and albums chart with her latest release and “Vampire,” the first single she released off “Guts” back in June, returns to top the singles chart at No.

1 with 23 million streams, according to data provided by Luminate. All 12 tracks off the record placed in the top 40 of the Hot 100, with “Bad Idea Right?” following “Vampire” at No.
