The 18-year-old Californian’s reign at Number 1 is the longest since August 2019, when Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s Senorita also notched up nine weeks at the top.
Nine weeks at Number 1 sees Drivers License surpass eight-week reigns in the last two years for Tones and I’s Dance Monkey, Saint Jhn’s Roses and DaBaby’s Rockstar ft.
Roddy Ricch. Entering the Top 5 for the first time this week is dance tune Friday by Riton x Nightcrawlers ft. Mufasa & Hypeman, bopping up three places to Number 4.
