Olivia Rodrigo‘s long-awaited sophomore era has officially begun with the unveiling of her new single “Vampire.” On Friday (June 30), the 20-year-old hitmaker introduced fans to her forthcoming album GUTS with the single.

It’s another emotional ballad in the style of breakout hit “drivers license.” On the track, she calls out a former lover who did her very wrong, saying that he’s “bleeding me dry like a godd-mn vampire.” Head inside to get the first taste of Olivia Rodrigo’s new era… “I’ve made some real big mistakes, but you make the worst one look fine / I should have known it was strange / you only come out at night,” she sings of her ex over a mournful production. “I used to think I was smart / But you made me look so naive.” Based on the lyrics, it appears that Olivia is singing about a relationship with an older partner.

She paired the track with an appropriately moody music video, which sees her covered in blood, performing in a mysterious glen and heading out into the streets of a city.
