Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Marcus Rashford has deservedly picked up numerous awards this season but he is unlikely to add the golden boot at this rate.
Role model Rashford has played a blinder on and off the pitch this term. He celebrated his 50th Premier League goal at Leicester in a memorable year in which he has also earned an MBE.
The ace won a special BBC Sports Personality award too for his successful campaign to extend free school meals in the coronavirus pandemic.
But Rashford also should have walked away with the match-ball at the King Power. And Rashford, 23, will have to be more clinical if he is to help bring the top prizes to Old Trafford.
