Cavani was withdrawn at half-time during Manchester United's Premier League clash with West Ham on Saturday night. Many believed the substitution was for tactical reasons as the Red Devils trailed 1-0 at the break, but Solskjaer has confirmed he was forced to make the change due to an injury sustained by the Uruguay veteran.
