Odsonne Edouard due in part to a sell-on clause in his contract. The Premiership champions spent a club record fee to sign the striker permanently from Paris Saint-Germain in 2018.

Since then Edouard has gone from strength to strength, hitting 55 goals in his 101 games since signing permanently. The 22-year-old has also struck 11 times in just six caps for the France Under-21 side, and has been attracting interest from across Europe.

According to the Daily Mail though the likes of Everton, Leicester City and Aston Villa could be put off by a £40million asking price.

The newspaper claims that Celtic have been forced to set that price because they owe a sell-on fee of 40 per cent to PSG when Edouard is sold.
