A double killer who murdered two women has been freed from prison to the fury of their families. Paul Bostock was 19 when he was jailed for the knife attacks on 33-year-old Caroline Osborne and Amanda Weedon, 21.
Caroline, who ran a pet grooming business, was stabbed in the neck and chest before her body was dumped in a Leicester park in July 1983.
Bostock murdered nurse Amanda as she walked home alone from a shopping trip with her fiancee in April 1985. He stabbed her 37 times in the neck, chest and thigh.
The twisted killer had visited his first victim’s grave in the hours leading up to the attack. Bostock, from Beaumont Leys, Leicester, was described as a sadist who was fascinated by the occult.
