Oasis founder Bonehead has announced his cancer 'is gone' after a full scan ten days ago. The music star went on to thank staff at The Christie Hospital in Manchester as he shared the good news.

The musician, whose real name is Paul Arthurs, is widely known as the rhythm guitarist, keyboardist and co-founder of English rock band Oasis.

He was set to join Liam Gallagher on his shows at Manchester's Etihad and Knebworth Park earlier this year, but had to pull out after he made the announcement in April that he had been diagnosed with tonsil cancer.

Sharing the update on Thursday evening, September 29, he thanked fans for the messages of support he received following his diagnosis and announced he was now in recovery.
