Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

Oasis Live 2025: fans are still managing to get UK tickets despite lengthy queues

Oasis fans are still managing to get tickets for UK shows, almost seven hours after the UK dates went on sale at 9am BST.Fans have faced a difficult morning trying to get tickets to the highly anticipated Oasis shows, that were announced earlier this week.The Britpop band unveiled a huge run of comeback gigs on Tuesday (August 27), dubbed Oasis Live ’25.

Set to take place next summer, the trek will see Liam and Noel Gallagher perform on stage together for the first time in 16 years.Tickets for the gigs went on sale this morning at 9am here for (UK), and here (Ireland).

Ahead of the sale, fans online reported issues with both Ticketmaster’s main website and the app apparently “crashing” as they received “503” errors – alongside long queues just to access the site, such was the demand for tickets.Some fans were also left frustrated today following Ticketmaster’s controversial dynamic pricing system whilst attempting to buy tickets.One fan shared their attempt to get tickets to Dublin’s Croke Park show, writing: “In demand standing ticket” is just a standard standing ticket except double the price.
