Apprentices enrolled in a popular nursing programme at a local university have celebrated significant recognition at national awards this year.
The University of Salford was shortlisted for Nursing Associate Training Programme Provider of the Year at the prestigious Student Nursing Times Awards.
Meanwhile, Nursing Associate Apprentice Yomi Aminu took home the Mary Seacole Award for Outstanding Contribution to Diversity and Inclusion, with judges saying he was a 'testament to the student nursing associate programme'.
The awards recognise the best nursing, nursing associate, and midwifery education providers and learners across the UK, and this year’s nomination count was exceptionally high.
