Nursery children forced to self-isolate for two weeks after day centre hit by coronavirus

Children at a nursery have been told to self-isolate after a day centre was hit by coronavirus. Oak Tree Centre nursery in Rhyl confirmed a case of Covid-19, meaning 12 children and four members of staff will self-isolate for 14 days.

It is not clear whether it is a child or a member of staff that has tested positive for coronavirus, North Wales Live reports.

There has also been a confirmed case of Covid-19 at a primary school in Prestatyn. Despite an “individual” at Ysgol Clawdd Offa primary school testing positive for the virus, no children or staff are required to self-isolate.
