Number of North Lanarkshire youths leaving school and entering further and higher education, training or employment at highest ever level

The number of youngsters in North Lanarkshire leaving school and entering further and higher education, training or employment is at its highest level since data was first recorded 13 years ago.In 2022/23, 94.7 per cent of school leavers were in a positive destination three months after the end of the school year.

The national average was 95.9 per cent.Of those, 40.8 per cent went on to higher education and 26.7 per cent to further education.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
