A fire has broken out in a block of flats in Edinburgh, with authorities reporting a "number of casualties." There has been a large emergency services response to the incident on Niddrie Mill Crescent in Edinburgh on Wednesday night, following reports of a fire in a ground-floor flat.

More than a dozen emergency vehicles, including fire service, ambulance, and police, have been pictured at the scene. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they were alerted to the address at 6:35 p.m.
