Nuala Carey says she misses her dad ‘every day’ not just on the big occasions

evoke.ieNuala Carey has often been very candid about the loss of her beloved dad Maurice since his passing in 2018. And now that she’s preparing to mark three years without him, the RTE presenter has spoken about how she still misses him ‘every day’.
In an interview with RSVP, Nuala explained how she doesn’t find the big occasions without her father any worse than the other days in the year.
She said: ‘We miss him every day. Things like Father’s Day and Christmas day, people say to me they must be really hard. ‘But I don’t find them any harder than other days because every day is the same, he’s not there every day. ‘The first Father’s Day, I was thankful for the lovely dad we had.
