Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981), occasionally known by his initials JT, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer.
Raised in Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.
Timberlake began to adopt a more mature image as an artist with the release of his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which yielded the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.
Rumours have been making the rounds for months that *NSYNC are set to reunite, ever since reports said they were releasing a new single for the upcoming trolls film, Trolls Band Together.
However, its five original members - Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake - have kept tied lipped about whether they'll be getting back together.
Until now, it seems... Every single member of the boyband, known for their hits including Bye Bye Bye, It's Gonna Be Me and Tearin' Up My Heart, has been spotted in New York City ahead of the MTV VMAs tonight.
TMZ confirmed the news today, saying that all five members are currently in New York, which is just miles away from where the VMAs are set to take place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
