The wife of a Novichok attack survivor has praised the NHS for working “miracles”. Det Sgt Nick Bailey was left fighting for his life in intensive care after coming into contact with the nerve agent as he probed the poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal on March 4, 2018.
Nick’s wife Sarah has marked the third anniversary of the attack by paying tribute to the medical staff who saved her husband’s life.
She also mentioned Dawn Sturgess, the 44-year-old mum who was killed in the Novichok attack. Sarah said on Twitter : “Can’t help but reflect today.
