The wife of the policeman who was poisoned in the Salisbury novichok attack has said he's still fighting for some of his pension after being medically retired.
Nick Bailey, formerly an officer in the Wiltshire Police, retired in October this year because he felt that the impact of the ordeal meant he couldn't do the job anymore.
He came into contact with novichok, a nerve agent, when he touched the door handle at the Salisbury home of Sergei Skripal, a former Russian spy, while he was searching it back in March 2018.
He spent more than two weeks in hospital after being poisoned. In a statement, police said Nick represents "the determination that all of us want to see in police officers across the country".
