Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper continues to be frustrated by last weekend's refereeing decisions, calling for a 'strong' officiating performance for his side's trip to Chelsea.

Forest were beaten 3-2 by Manchester United last Saturday, despite being 2-0 up inside four minutes. Erik ten Hag's side were able to assert their dominance after a chaotic opening, with Christian Eriksen, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes all finding the net.

The eventual winner from Fernandes came from the penalty spot after Marcus Rashford was fouled inside the box. Forest were also down to 10 men at the time, having seen Joe Worrall sent off for the denial of a goalscoring opportunity.

Such was the anger among Forest staff that they sent a formal complaint to the PGMOL regarding the performance of referee Stuart Attwell.
