Ben Affleck finally got to fulfill his (presumed) lifelong dream of working at Dunkin'. In an ad that aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 12 titled “Dunkin' ‘Drive Thru’ Starring Ben," works the drive-thru window at a Dunkin' location in Medford, Massachusetts, a city 6.7 miles northwest of Boston.

At the end of the ad, Jennifer Lynn Affleck (otherwise known as ) pulls up to the drive-thru. “What are you doing here?” she says. “Is this what you do when you say you're going to work all day?”While film fans have followed Affleck's relationship with the donut chain for years—it got him (and us) through the 2020 lockdown—it's finally come full circle.

But it turns out that not everyone in Affleck's hometown of Boston was excited that the actor was working at their local Dunkin' outpost.“It’s Boston, after all, so we had some rather coarse and agitated people who were willing to voice their displeasure in a colorful way," Affleck told “I’m still lobbying to include the most interesting of those in some of the edgiest social spots.” Per the Journal, Dunkin' will share outtakes from the commercial across its social media platforms, and the ad will continue airing in the coming weeks.

After the ad aired on Sunday, the company posted a video with outtakes on YouTube, which you can see below. Not everyone in the video appears pleased with how Ben Affleck's Dunkin' shift interrupted their day (which is fair, as he is definitely not accustomed to working in the service industry), but then again, these are people who haven't had their caffeine yet.
