It's certainly been quite a turbulent few years for the British high street as a string of once-loved chains and department stores closed their doors for good.Over the past few years there has been a significant rise in online shopping, which has led to many of us shopping from the comforts of our own home.The drastic change in consumer demand, which has only been fuelled further due to coronavirus lockdowns, combined with a decrease in footfall has led to closure of some of our favourite shops.While shopping online is incredibly convenient, there are quite a few stores that are no longer around that we hold a fondness for.Who remembers the days of going to Woolies for their Pick 'n' Mix or to BHS to browse around the Christmas section
