Norwegian Royal Marius Borg Høiby Arrested, Suspected of Rape

Marius Borg Høiby has found himself in some legal trouble. The 27-year-old son of Norway’s crown Princess Mette-Marit was arrested on Monday (November 18) in Oslo, Norway, People reports.

The next day, the Oslo Police District released a statement on the royal family member’s arrest, revealing he has been suspected of rape. Keep reading to find out more… Marius was arrested on expanded charges applying “to a violation of Section 291 letter b of the Penal Code, which applies to sexual intercourse with someone who is unconscious or for other reasons unable to resist the act.” According to the police’s release, prosecutors decided to investigate the matter on November 6th. “What the police can say about the rape is that it concerns sexual intercourse without intercourse.
