District, the ultra-modern Thai BBQ restaurant in the city’s Northern Quarter has been announced as one of the finalists in a new category as part of the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards.
District is one of 10 finalists to make the cut of the new ‘Food Lovers Award’. The award has been created to give restaurant goers across the UK the chance to get involved by having their say on the best places to eat out across the UK.
The winner will be announced at the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards on Monday, June 13 at The Hurlingham Club in London.
Opened in May 2021, by the team behind nearby Japanese restaurant Tokyo Ramen, District took over from an old off-licence on Oldham Street, and turned the venue into a futuristic-styled space with white tiles and pink lighting.
