Normal People fans can’t cope with Lorraine’s ‘Connell’ tattoo

Lorraine is the best mother on telly and the best character in Normal People. End of discussion. Her dressing down of Connell about his terrible attitude towards Marianne is the best part of the series.

And just when we thought we couldn’t’ love her anymore, we spotted something that made our hearts melt. On her wrist, she has a tattoo which reads Connell, her son’s name.

Honestly, the sweetest mam ever! As soon as Twitter users noticed the adorable tribute to her son they couldn’t cope. One fan gushed: ‘I never noticed this!!
