Normal People has been high on people’s TV must-watch lists lately and we can’t say we’re surprised… it’s SO good! The BBC series, which is an adaptation of Sally Rooney’s acclaimed novel, landed in full on iPlayer recently, and we’re sure popcorn has been flying off shelves to accompany evening binge-watching sessions as a result.
As well as being fond of the series, it seems fans are also gushing over lead actor Paul Mescal, 24, too, who plays Irish heartthrob, Connell.
The rising star, who grew up in Maynooth in County Kildare, Ireland, was raised by parents Paul and Dearbhla and grew up with two siblings, a sister named Nell and brother Donnacha.
