Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

While we may not ever get the chance to see Noel and Liam Gallagher get Oasis back together, we’d love to see Noel duet with Bono.

The singer-songwriter joined Ryan Tubridy virtually on the Late Late Show to talk about his upcoming greatest hits album and he also lifted the lid on the party lifestyle that went along with the rock’n’roll life.

Reminiscing about his career, the Manchester musician revealed that U2 used to throw the ‘greatest parties’ and that he even enjoyed a karaoke duet with Bono at one point.

The rock legend revealed that he had always had a fan of U2 from very early on in his career. He explained that he struck a friendship with the band after they played Slane Castle together and they bumped into each other at award
