EXCLUSIVE: Noah Wyle (ER, The Librarians) has signed with Verve for representation. The actor, producer and director who has led multiple hit series to date, recently re-teamed with fellow ER alums John Wells and R.
Scott Gemmill on another medical drama, The Pitt, which Wyle will star in and executive produce. The series, which has received a 15-episode order by Max, is described as a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.
Wyle headlined The Librarian franchise that includes three made-for-TV movies as well as the TV series of the same name. He also starred in the post-apocalyptic alien invasion drama Falling Skies at TNT and is currently completing the third season of Leverage: Redemption for Amazon.
His film credits include A Few Good Men, Donnie Darko and White Oleander, among others. For his work on ER, Wyle received five consecutive Emmy nominations from 1995-1999 for best supporting actor in a drama as well as three Golden Globe nominations.
