Joseph Michael Kramer (born June 21, 1950) is the American drummer for the hard rock band Aerosmith. Kramer was born and raised into a Jewish family. He has become a born again Christian.

The Aerosmith train has stopped a-runnin’. The group announced on its official X account that it won’t return to touring, citing vocalist Steven Tyler‘s injured vocals and inability to recover. “We’ve always wanted to blow your mind when performing,” the band wrote. “As you know, Steven’s voice is an instrument like no other.
He has spent months tirelessly working on getting his voice to where it was before his injury. We’ve seen him struggling despite having the best medical team by his side.
Sadly, it is clear, that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible. We have made a heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision — as a band of brothers — to retire from the touring stage.” See the full post below.
The group already announced it was on its farewell tour. The Peace Out” Tour abruptly was postponed in September because of Tyler’s ongoing vocal cord and larynx problems.
