The first trailer for Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, the fourth installment in the rom com series, reveals Renee Zellweger‘s Bridget — last seen getting married to Mark Darcy, the father of her baby — is now a widow!
That’s right. They killed Colin Firth offscreen! Related: Are Renee Zellweger & Ant Anstead Engaged? Colin will still appear in the film, only in flashbacks.
Instead of that relationship being Bridget’s endgame, she’ll have three other men vying for her affections. The hunky Leo Woodall from White Lotus, the charming Chiwetel Ejiofor, and of course… Hugh Grant is back as the dastardly Daniel Cleaver.
