BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhurst brought a glimmer of hope to viewers as she discussed the future of the Sycamore Gap tree.
The 43 year old journalist was on the iconic red sofa for Friday's edition of the widely watched morning show, presenting alongside her co-host Charlie Stayt.
A segment dedicated to the renowned Sycamore Gap tree, located adjacent to Hadrian's Wall near Crag Lough in Northumberland, featured within the episode.
Tragically, on the 28th of September 2023, it was reported that the storied tree had been cut down, an act of vandalism that sparked public outrage.
