Nikola Katic has reportedly been told he has no future at the club, with the Croat to be sold before the end of the transfer window.
The centre-back missed the whole of last season after suffering a knee injury in training and could only watch on as his team-mates lifted the Premiership title.
Katic has returned to action and played 70 minutes against Dumbarton for the B team this week. However, the Scottish Sun reports that he's not in the plans of manager Steven Gerrard and will be sold before the end of the transfer window.
Katic has fallen behind Connor Goldson, Filip Helander, Leon Balogun and Jack Simpson in the pecking order, and is said to have been told his Rangers career is over.
