Nigella Lawson may be famous for her sultry cooking shows and decadent recipes but she was not always in front of the camera as a chef.

Prior to her successful celebrity chef status, the 60-year-old was a journalist and on one assignment, back in 1997, she reported on how Princess Diana changed attitudes to motherhood for Newsnight.

Newly unearthed footage of the report, in which the Wandsworth native was 37, reveals she has fantastic genetics as she does not look a day over twenty.

However, in the last two decades, the reporter-turned-cooking icon has ditched her wholesome style for a more polished and sleek look.
