TV cook Nigella Lawson has been mocked by fans after sharing a photo of a beef dish she recently made for dinner. Nigella, 62, cooked up an Aberdeen Angus tomahawk steak, which she describer to her 2.7 million Instagram followers as “glorious” and “gorgeous”.
As Nigella shared the snap of the dish on her Instagram page, she wrote in the caption: "Forgot to post the glorious main course after the prawns last night: a gorgeous @meatpeter Aberdeen Angus tomahawk steak with green sauce (parsley, chives, lemon zest and juice, anchovies, chilli and olive oil); steamed new potatoes with olive oil and chives, roast onions with thyme, and castelfranco and red chicory salad out of shot. "And I have an old-fashioned sandwich loaf ready to make luscious sandwiches with the leftovers today!" But, the chef's followers didn’t all agree that the meat should be that rare, as some commented to add their thoughts on the dish – with some making fun it.
One penned: “A good vet could save it.” While another added: “Can’t wait to see it cooked.” Another commented: “So rare it could be heard mooing.” And a fourth joked: " That beef looks B****Y good!” However, for others, the dish looked delicious as one said: “Wow!
That gives me inspiration for dinner tomorrow! Thank you! However, mine will not turn out as perfect as yours." Usually a keen meat eater, Nigella did attempt to go vegan for a few weeks last year, however she soon gave up.
