Nicole Scherzinger is bringing her acclaimed interpretation of legendary diva Norma Desmond to Broadway with a new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Sunset Boulevard.” The revival, which was first announced in January, begins previews on Sept.
28 and will officially open to the public on Oct. 20. The “X-Factor” judge and Pussycat Dolls singer has big shoes to fill in playing the fading film star, an iconic role played in the past by the likes of Glenn Close, Betty Buckley and Patti LuPone.
But considering the rave reviews she received for her performance on the West End, where it ran for a limited 16-week run in 2023, she has nothing to worry about.
