If you didn’t know, Nicole was a judge alongside Simon Cowell on The X Factor UK and she actually helped form One Direction.
While he’s often crediting as the one who created the band, behind-the-scenes video shows that she was the one picking the members of the group. Nicole also just worked with Liam on the Netflix competition series Building the Band, which filmed over the summer.
Hours before her tribute was posted, it was revealed that Nicole had been texting with Liam on the day he passed away.
