Nicole Scherzinger, Liam Payne & Kelly Rowland Set As Judges, A.J. McLean To Host ‘Building The Band’ Netflix Music Competition Series

deadline.comNetflix has tapped Nicole Scherzinger(The Pussycat Dolls) to serve as mentor and judge on Netflix’s upcoming music competition series Building the Band.
Joining her on the judges’ panel are One Direction’s Liam Payne and Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland. Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean will serve as host.
Filming on the series is set to begin this summer. Additional guest judges, along with various challenges will be announced at a later date.
Building the Band seeks to discover the next great music group without bandmates initially meeting face-to-face. In the series, the singers are in complete control as they seek to form their very own bands in individual ‘booths’ without ever seeing each other.
