Reports in Belgium this week stated that the 21-year-old midfielder had emerged as a target for Gio van Bronckhorst and sporting director Ross Wilson with the transfer deadline rapidly approaching.
The Belgian under-21 cap was dropped to the bench for Standard's clash with Kortrijk raising doubts he will see out the season in the Belgian Pro League, with Raskin's contract ending in the summer of 2023.
With Glen Kamara being linked with a move to Nice before the window shuts on September 1, Rangers could be forced into a late move to bolster the midfield ranks at Ibrox as they look to compete domestically and in the Champions League this term.
