Contract rebel Nicolas Raskin has reportedly been handed a deadline by Standard Liege over a new deal with Rangers named among clubs monitoring the midfielder.

In the end a move failed to materialise but reports in Belgium suggest Rangers are weighing up a bid for the Belgium U21 international as he approaches the final six months of his Standard deal.
A move away from Ronny Deila 's side appears to be gathering pace with Serie A side Spezia and Belgian rivals Club Brugge also credited with an interest in the January window.
