Nicola Sturgeon today warned she won't "shy away" from forcing English people who visit Scotland to go into quarantine. The First Minister raised the drastic prospect of asking anyone who crosses the border to self-isolate for 14 days as she tries to "virtually eliminate" the virus.
She told the BBC the idea was being kept "under review", adding: "These are not decisions I will take lightly but they’re equally not decisions I will shy away from." It comes after Scotland refused to ease lockdown as quickly as England amid fears the virus could run out of control once more.
