Ian Blackford caused fury this week after he demanded photographer Ollie Taylor explain himself for a picture taken in Caithness.
Blackford appeared to believe Taylor, who is from England, was breaking lockdown rules. He tweeted: "As you live in the south of England and travel to Scotland is only for permitted reasons I am sure there will be a valid reason as to why you are posting a photo from the north of Scotland last night?"The tweet triggered an angry reaction as it was unclear how Blackford could be sure of the man's situation.
Blackford later deleted the post and apologised to Taylor: "I will continue to stand up for my constituents who frequently raise these concerns with me but I recognise that it was wrong to query an individual.
