justjared.comLizzo and Nickelback are feeling the love. The “Photograph” rockers hopped on social media to thank the 34-year-old “Good as Hell” hitmaker for defending them from haters in a resurfaced interview clip.
During a 2019 “Jam or Not a Jam” segment with CBC Music, she rocked out to their song “How You Remind Me,” noting that it was an enduring hit that everyone knows.
She then hypothesized why the group got so much hate. Keep reading to find out more… “Why do people not like Nickelback,” she asked, pointing out the song had a “beautiful climax” and that everyone knew it. “I feel like Nickelback gets way too much s-it.” She thought that the group got so much hate “because [Chad Kroeger] had a curly blond perm.” “That’s the only reason they get s-it because this is an amazing song,” she continued.
Four years after the fact, Nickelback hopped on Instagram to share the clip and thank her for the support. “Thank you [Lizzo] for the kind words!
