Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1969 or 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer. Referred to as the "Songbird Supreme" by Guinness World Records, she is noted for her five-octave vocal range, melismatic singing style, and signature use of the whistle register.
She rose to fame in 1990 after signing to Columbia Records and releasing her eponymous debut album, which topped the U.S. Billboard 200 for eleven consecutive weeks. Soon after, Carey became the only artist ever to have their first five singles reach number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, from "Vision of Love" to "Emotions".
Nick Cannon Clarifies When His Celibacy Journey Started as He Announces Another Baby on the Way
justjared.comNick Cannon revealed back in October of 2021 that he was beginning a celibacy journey at the advice of his therapist after he welcomed his 7th child. “I’m celibate right now,” the 40-year-old talk show host said in an interview on October 1, 2021. “I’m going to see if I could make it to 2022.” However, in January of 2022, Nick announced he’s expecting his 8th child.
Fans questioned if Nick was actually celibate. Click inside to read his response… “My therapist was one of the [people] who said that I should probably be celibate because I had shared that news, that Bre [Tiesi] was pregnant,” he said on his talk show on Monday (January 31). “That was the reason why I started my celibacy journey back then. … I was [celibate] because I was dealing with [this].” Nick confirmed that Bre was pregnant with his 8th child (and their first together) this week.
Most recently, Nick and Abby De La Rosa welcomed twin sons Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir in June 2021.
A few weeks later, son Zen, with model Alyssa Scott, was also born. He announced in December that Zen had sadly passed away at 5-months-old from a brain tumor.
