Do you hear the hearts of fan girls breaking all over the world? Niall Horan has officially dashed any chances of us hearing a collaboration with his friend Lewis Capaldi any time soon.

It was noted some time ago that both Niall and Lewis had hit the studio together, obviously looking to make the most of their adorable friendship (the two became close after Lewis opened for Niall on his US tour a few years ago) and combine their talents.

And now, with both of the boys having new albums on the horizon - Niall's The Show, just announced, is set to drop June 9, while Lewis' second album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent is due May 19 - if you were a betting man, you would surely be betting against yourself to not expect at least one song with both of them on said albums?

Well, do we have some bad news for you. Speaking to The Daily Star, Niall confirmed that while, yes, both he and Lewis did write several songs during their sessions together, they're probably never going to be released.
