NHS worker who lost purse in UK speechless as it's found in Turkey a year later

An NHS worker was left speechless after her purse which she had lost the year before in the UK was found by a man in Turkey.

The unlikely find has led to the pair becoming friends. After losing her purse in September 2019, Nikita Turvey searched her house from top to bottom but it was nowhere to be found.

The 24-year-old from Harlow, Essex, thought it was gone for good and ordered new cards, work passes and IDs. But in November 2020, she received a message from a stranger on Instagram who sent a photo of the student card which had been inside the purse.

Kaya, who works in recycling, had found the purse on the ground at work and decided to trace its rightful owner. The two now regularly chat on social media and Nikita says she would love
