NHS Lanarkshire is set to welcome dedicated volunteers who will help provide excellent support to the area.As part of an innovative recruitment drive, those with an interest in helping with the health board are being encouraged to volunteer to support a number of patient-facing roles including way-finders, general visiting and ward support and help at mealtimes.Erin Macqueen, voluntary services manager for NHS Lanarkshire, said: "Our volunteers are invaluable to our organisation, bringing compassion, support, and assistance to patients, visitors and staff alike.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
