NHS Covid app fix being worked on after ‘serious defect’ discovered

A fix is being worked on for the NHS Covid app, a health minister has told Parliament after he was tackled over a “serious defect” in the software.

Concerns have been raised at Westminster that details of a person who has received a booster jab are “hidden away” on the mobile platform and not prominently displayed, as earlier doses were.
