Newport Beach Horror ‘Hunting Matthew Nichols’ Gets Sales Deal Ahead Of AFM
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: UK sales outfit Amp International has boarded worldwide sales on the Canadian horror thriller Hunting Matthew Nichols directed by Markian Tarasiuk (There’s Someone Inside Your House), written by Sean Harris Oliver (The Fighting Season) and starring Miranda MacDougall (The Flash) and Tarasiuk.
Twenty-three years after her brother mysteriously disappeared, a documentary filmmaker sets out to solve his missing person’s case.
But when a disturbing piece of evidence is revealed, she comes to believe that her brother might still be alive. The film recently had its world premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival and is also playing at the Nightmares Film Festival and Filmquest Film Festival.
Amp International will introduce the film to buyers at the upcoming American Film Market in Las Vegas. Pic is produced by Lucy McNulty, Matt Villeneuve, Sean Harris Oliver, Markian Tarasiuk and Amy Laurel Barager.
