The club is in limbo which boss Steve Bruce says is “unhealthy.” Ashley's position is that he wants to sell up, an agreement is signed with broker Amanda Staveley, and he is now powerless in the process and waiting for the Premier League to rule on the Saudi funded deal.
Boss Steve Bruce has admitted he wants a verdict on the deal, either way, soon. His future would be thrown into doubt ahead of next season, but if he stays in charge, Bruce needs to get to work on plans for recruitment next season.
