Troon signing Ben Black says the attacking philosophy of manager Jimmy Kirkwood attracted him to the club.The 23-year-old winger joined the Portland Parkers last week after bringing the curtain down on a three-year spell at Largs Thistle.And he admits it took just a couple of training sessions with the Seasiders to convince him his future lay there.He said: "I loved my time at Largs but I just had this feeling I needed a new challenge."I went in and trained with Troon and enjoyed it.

I felt I could add to the squad so my mind was made up after a couple sessions."The manager made it clear to me he likes playing with wingers and attacking football so for me that’s perfect."I like to try to be direct and positive when I get the ball so I hope.
